Who we are
Behind the Decks TV (“BTD”, “we”, “us”) is an independent editorial platform for electronic music. Based in Dublin, Ireland.

1) Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using behindthedeckstv.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2) Content & editorial independence
Our content includes articles, interviews, features, guides and recommendations. Editorial choices are independent and may include affiliate links (see §9). Opinions are those of the authors.
3) Permitted use
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to our pages. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape content at scale without written consent.
4) Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the Site and its original content are © Behind the Decks TV or their respective rightsholders and protected by applicable laws. Do not reproduce, distribute, adapt or create derivative works without permission. We credit artists, labels, photographers and contributors whenever possible.
5) User submissions (music, press, images, texts)
If you submit materials (e.g., music, press kits, photos, biographies, quotes), you represent that you have the necessary rights. You grant BTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, excerpt, link to, and display such materials as reasonably needed to review, publish and promote the related editorial piece, with proper credit. You can withdraw your permission for future use by emailing contact@behindthedecks.com; this will not affect uses already made in good faith.
BTD may decline or edit submissions for clarity, length, or legal/compliance reasons. We do not guarantee coverage.
6) Third-party platforms & links
The Site links out to services like Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Beatport, ticketing and social platforms. Those services are operated by third parties and subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability or practices.
7) Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our editorial independence remains non-negotiable.
8) Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or error-free content. Music opinions are subjective; inclusion or omission is not an endorsement or disapproval.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BTD and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, third-party services, or reliance on content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10) Notice & takedown (copyright or other issues)
If you believe that content on the Site infringes your rights, please email contact@behindthedecks.com with: (a) identification of the content and its URL; (b) proof of rights or authority; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement in good faith that the use is unauthorised. We will review and respond promptly.
11) Age
The Site is not intended for children under 16. Do not submit personal data if you are under that age.
12) Changes to the Site
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including content or features.
13) Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will govern your use of the Site and is indicated by the “Last updated” date above.
14) Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under local law where applicable.
